The standout psychedelic event of the year returns in 2023.

The eclectic Djanan Turan and The Flying Karpet collective will come together for the fourth time to bring us into The Pyschedelic World of Baris Manco.

As a pioneer of rock music in Turkey and one of the founders of Anatolian rock genre, Baris Manco is the best-selling, most awarded and influential Turkish artist of all time. To commemorate the anniversary of his passing, the London-based Turkish artists Djanan Turan and The Flying Karpet have put together a bespoke 90 minute live set to celebrate the life of one of the most beloved artists of the 20th century.

Singer/songwriter Djanan Turan, originally from Turkey has been at the forefront of the North London music scene for many years and has often been described as a Music guru, fusing earthy Turkish folk, electronica and edgy global beats; along with the emerging Karpet Collective.

This renowned group of musicians from the London underground scene includes, Jomy Jomert (keys), Tansay Omar (drums), Berdin Pamukcu (guitar), Taha Turan (bass), Alice Mary Williamson (clarinet), Elizabeth Nott (percussion), and guest singers Dila Vardar and Cigdem Aslan and they will take you on the journey that is Baris Manco.

DJ, record collector and music writer Burak Cetindag (Brainwashed /Turquoise Dream – London) has been spinning records for over 25 years, starting at Turkey’s first independent rock radio station in Istanbul and since then at various underground clubs across the globe.

Get ready for an eclectic mix of the 60s and 70s to early 80s Anatolian psychedelic rock, funk and jazz gems on the warm sounds of rare 7-inch vinyl.
