Seamlessly blending jazz, Afrobeat, and traditional African rhythms, Cameroonian superstar & jazz multi-instrumentalist, Richard Bona, takes to our stage for two exclusive dates this year.

Born and raised in Cameroon, he arrived in New York in the mid-’90s and wowed crowds, with some even dubbing Bona “the second coming of Jaco Pastorius”.

Seeking inspiration from his origins, the themes of Bona’s albums address international issues which mirror his desire of using music to take a stance on issues affecting the oppressed.

With a sound that’s both classic and unique, he’s since been awarded a Grammy-win and 3 nominations with his cross-genre innovation and musical storytelling.
