Tomorrow’s Warriors are recreating their Jazz Cafe Jams that were brought to us in 1990 and hosted by Gary Crosby. A platform created to drive diversity and representation in the UK jazz scene, sparking a musical movement.
As a bassist in the original Jazz Warriors, founder of Jazz Jamaica and Nu Civilisation Orchestra, band leader of Groundation, and more, Crosby’s musicality stretches across the genre of jazz. However, it is as Co-Founder of Tomorrow’s Warriors that his impact is perhaps most profound. He doesn’t just recognise talent; he inspires generation after generation to achieve their potential.
This event will see a specially invited mix of Warriors alumni, emerging artists, and current members of their Young Artist Development programme take to the stage for this special celebration, with all proceeds going to support the work of Tomorrow’s Warriors.
