Marking Jamaican Independence with one of the most vital voices in modern reggae.

Jesse Royal channels the spirit of 1970s reggae into a sound shaped firmly in the present — purposeful, politically aware and built for today’s global stage.

Emerging from Kingston, he has been central to a new wave of artists bringing conscious reggae back into focus.

With collaborations spanning Protoje, Vybz Kartel and Runkus, his live shows move between deep grooves, dub textures and contemporary energy — a fitting tribute to Jamaica’s enduring musical legacy.
