‘Legacy isn’t a playlist, it’s a stage, it’s breath, it’s interpretation’ – Salma Mosufi

Salma was 18 and singing Madonna covers in Beirut when Ziad Rahbani first heard her in 1986. He invited her into his studio, beginning a partnership thatled to Monodose, their 2001 album of bossa-tinged oriental jazz.

The pair last shared a London stage in 2019, on Ziad’s final European tour. Following his death in 2025, Salma returns with a band led by musical director Ryan Naccour to perform the songs they made together, Ziad’s fusions of Arabic melody with jazz and funk, and music from her 2008 solo album Salma Nova.
