Los Angeles rhyme general Nicholas Carter aka Murs has a reputation as one of the west coast’s best lyricists with good reason.
Having set a Guinness World Record for rapping for 24 hours non-stop in 2016, the artist whose name is as an acronym for “Making the Universe Recognize and Submit” or “Making Underground Raw Shit”, has worked with everyone from 9th Wonder to Terrace Martin in his career.
After recently undergoing a dark time in his private life, he’s come back this year with his most personal record to date, A Strange Journey Into The Unimaginable. Receiving strong reviews across the board from critics, Pitchfork compared his wordplay to that of hip-hop legends Sugar Hill Gang and Biz Markie.
Opening the show on the night will be soulful hip-hop trio The Age Of L.U.N.A.
