An evening of Brazilian jazz & bossa nova, from the timeless songs of João Gilberto, Antônio Carlos Jobim through to modern interpretations.
Born in late-1950s Brazil, bossa nova blends the gentle rhythms of samba with the harmonic sophistication of jazz, creating its signature laid-back, intimate sound and influencing music far beyond Brazil.
Ella & The Bossa Beat bring a night of breezy sound and unmistakable Brazilian cool, led by rising jazz vocalist and pianist Ella Blu, alongside her father, Grammy-nominated drummer Magrus Borges.
