Formed in 1972, The Real Thing are Britain’s longest-established – and best-loved – Black group in UK entertainment history.

Universally known for timeless anthems including ‘Can’t Get By Without You’ and ‘Can You Feel the Force’, alongside the ground-breaking 1977 release ‘Children of the Ghetto’, The Real Thing remain true pioneers of soul, funk and dance music.

Featuring original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith, the band mark half a century since their chart-topping breakthrough with a special run of shows — celebrating an extraordinary legacy that continues to resonate worldwide.
